"Xiong’an-1" is the first satellite produced and completed in the Xiong’an New Area, marking a substantial step in commercial aerospace manufacturing there.
In terms of industrial ecology, the 2026 Space Computing Industry Conference will be held on April 3 at the Tongming Lake Convention Center in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Yizhuang), attended by computing power leaders, satellite manufacturers, rocket manufacturers, and other representatives.
The conference will announce the establishment of the industry’s first “Space Computing Professional Committee” and launch the “Beijing Space Computing Innovation Center.” The Economic-Technological Development Area Management Committee will issue the “Space Computing Key Common Technology Challenge List.” The conference will feature three major topics covering the top-level design of space computing power, commercial aerospace, and core components, covering the entire ecological chain, reflecting China’s strategic layout for deeply integrating computing power with aerospace.
In carrier rockets, CAS Space disclosed detailed maiden flight schedules in its prospectus. For the Lijian series, the Lijian-2 heavy rocket is planned for its first flight in 2028, and the Lijian-3 in 2030; for reusable launch vehicles, the Lihong-2 is planned for its first flight between the end of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027, and the Lihong-3 in 2028.
