A-share indices diverged, the Shanghai Composite turned positive, while the ChiNext Index fell 0.91%. CPO, IPO economy, photovoltaics, and consumer electronics concept stocks weakened. CICC plans to merge and absorb Dongxing Securities and Cinda Securities via share swap; CICC and Dongxing Securities hit limit-up, Cinda Securities rose nearly 7%.

Hong Kong stocks opened lower; the Hang Seng Index fell 0.54% and the Hang Seng Tech Index fell 1.11%. Most tech stocks pulled back; SenseTime fell more than 3%, Xiaomi Group and XPeng Motors fell over 2%. CICC rose over 7%.

Most domestic commodity futures rose at opening; coking coal up 4.61%, palladium up 4.55%, fuel oil up 2.43%, Shanghai tin up 2.43%, asphalt up 2.01%, polysilicon up 0.63%, container shipping index (Europe route) fell 2.34%.

Most government bond futures opened flat; the 30-year main contract rose 0.21% to 112.220 yuan, the 10-year main contract fell 0.01% to 107.990 yuan, the 5-year main contract remained flat at 105.830 yuan, the 2-year main contract was flat at 102.436 yuan.
