Wall Street Insights has learned from Qichacha that Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd. has officially submitted four trademark applications named "Qianwen Xiaojiuwo" to the National Trademark Office, with the application date being March 10.

Among them, the projects applied for include Artificial Intelligence as a Service (AIaaS), chatbot software for simulating conversation, humanoid robots with artificial intelligence for scientific research, humanoid robots with communication and learning functions for assisting humans and entertainment purposes, and all trademarks are currently in the "application for registration" status.

This move undoubtedly explains Alibaba's ambition in the field of embodied intelligence.

It is worth mentioning that on April 20, Alibaba’s official account released a “meaningful” poster: an image of a woman with deep dimples, along with the text “See you on April 22, hello world.”

Wall Street Insights has learned that this promotional poster is indeed related to the "Qianwen Xiaojiuwo" trademark registration. From "Qianwen" to "Xiaojiuwo," Alibaba is attempting to fully layout from "dialogue entry" to "physical interaction entry."

The emergence of "Qianwen Xiaojiuwo" is not an isolated technological advancement. Looking back on Alibaba's movements in the past month, one can see a clear strategic trajectory.

Since the establishment of the Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) business group on March 16, Alibaba's speed in launching new AI products can be described as a "saturation attack."

Within just one month, the video model HappyHorse, the world model HappyOyster, and the AI development tool Meoo (Miaowu) have been launched one after another. This series of layouts completes the puzzle of visual generation, physical world understanding, and developer ecosystem respectively.

And "Xiaojiuwo" is very likely another piece of this combination.

Alibaba has actually been laying out in the field of embodied intelligence for a long time. Previously, Alibaba has invested in robotics for many years. Last year, Alibaba management stated that an embodied intelligence team has been formed within Qianwen, and in February this year, Alibaba DAMO Academy officially released the embodied intelligence brain foundational model RynnBrain.

At present, Alibaba's achievements in embodied intelligence are being rapidly productized through the ATH business group.

Currently, the true nature of "Qianwen Xiaojiuwo" remains controversial. It might be a high-end digital human deeply integrated with the Qianwen large model, meant to replace traditional customer service and sales scenarios; it could also be a humanoid robot product with strong interactive capabilities.

But regardless of the truth, Alibaba has already made its bet. Now that the dividends from internet growth have been exhausted, defining the "embodied entry" of the AI era is the key solution to relieving growth anxiety and reshaping valuation logic.

On April 22, when the woman with dimples steps out from the poster into reality, the outside world may witness what game Alibaba is truly playing.

This battle for the "physical AI entry" has just begun.
