"‘Crayfish’ concept surges! Jensen Huang: OpenClaw will be the next ChatGPT!"

A single sentence from NVIDIA’s CEO ignited the market’s enthusiasm for “little lobster”.

On Wednesday (March 18), Hong Kong "lobster" concept stock MiniMax surged as high as 23% intraday, Zhipu rose up to 16%, and A-share cloud service provider UCloud Technology also climbed over 10%.

On Tuesday (March 17), NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang publicly declared at the GTC conference that OpenClaw "is absolutely the next ChatGPT", characterizing it as a fundamental transformation — fundamentally expanding the boundaries of what individuals can achieve using AI technology.

This statement quickly ignited market sentiment, and China concept stocks related to the OpenClaw ecosystem collectively strengthened. Steven Leung, Executive Director at UOB Kay Hian Hong Kong, commented:

"Jensen Huang’s optimistic outlook for OpenClaw is fueling the market’s bullish sentiment toward AI agents. NVIDIA’s plan to launch related products suggests that the ‘lobster’ craze is just beginning."

OpenClaw officially launched in November last year and is an open-source, autonomous AI agent platform based on large language models. Unlike traditional chatbots, OpenClaw not only answers questions but can independently complete tasks, make decisions, and take action with minimal human intervention, performing daily functions.

This tool has already amassed a near-fanatical user base in China, becoming another major catalyst after DeepSeek ignited domestic AI enthusiasm over a year ago. Tencent, Alibaba, Baidu, and other major Chinese cloud computing providers have successively incorporated OpenClaw into their service portfolios, offering deployment support to enterprise clients; MiniMax, Zhipu, and other large language model providers supply computing power for agent operations.

It is noteworthy that on March 18, MiniMax released a new generation flagship agent model M2.7, demonstrating for the first time the path to “model self-evolution”. By building the Agent Harness system, the model deeply engages in its own training and optimization process, capable of undertaking 30%-50% of the workload in certain R&D scenarios, and achieving about 30% improvement in internal evaluation sets.

Meanwhile, An announcement on Alibaba Cloud’s official website stated that due to surging global AI demand and supply chain price increases, Alibaba Cloud’s AI computing power, storage, and other products will increase prices by up to 34%.

Jensen Huang: Every company needs a “Lobster Strategy”

According to a WallstreetCN article, Jensen Huang made a clear appeal to global enterprises at the NVIDIA GTC conference: “Every company in the world today needs to formulate an OpenClaw strategy, that is, an agent system strategy. This is the new computing paradigm.”

He gave OpenClaw extremely high praise, saying that the project “provided the most needed thing for the industry at the most opportune time,” and emphasized, “OpenClaw enables us to create personal agents, with impacts that are unbelievable.”

The article pointed out that, to illustrate OpenClaw's industry status, Jensen Huang likened it to foundational infrastructure in tech history — OpenClaw’s significance to AI is equivalent to Windows for personal computers, and its industrial impact can even be compared to the Linux OS, the Kubernetes cloud project, and HTML.

Jensen Huang stressed, “It allows the entire industry to seize this open-source stack and use it to develop applications and create value.”
