Google launches the AI personalized story app Dreambeans, available only to Ultra subscription users.
```
Google Labs has launched an experimental application called Dreambeans, which uses artificial intelligence technology to integrate users’ Gmail, Calendar, Photos and other Google product data, generating personalized story content daily. Its goal is to help users break free from endless scrolling and focus on what truly matters—people and events.
The app is currently available to Google AI Ultra subscribers aged 18 and above in the United States, supporting both Android and iOS platforms. Other users can register on the official website to join the waiting list.
Google emphasizes that privacy choices within Dreambeans are independent from Personal Intelligence settings in other products like Gemini and will not affect each other.
The launch of Dreambeans is Google’s latest move in expanding its presence in the AI personal assistant and content aggregation fields, and is an important component of its differentiated AI Ultra subscription service.
Powered by Google’s Latest AI: Read User Data to Generate Personalized Daily Stories
The core capability of Dreambeans is based on Google’s newest AI technology, including the Personal Intelligence feature and the Nano Banana 2 model.
With user authorization, the app can access data such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Photos, YouTube, and search history, creating a personalized content recommendation logic.
The daily stories generated are not an infinite scroll of information, but a finite collection of content. Each story comes with exclusive illustrations created according to places frequently visited and people often seen by the user.
Google states that the original intention is to help users focus on what they truly care about, rather than becoming caught up in passive information reception cycles.
Google offers a specific scenario to illustrate how the app works: When a user receives a confirmation email for a pet snack delivery, Dreambeans will automatically link this information and actively push pet training tips, while also combining calendar reminders of friends visiting to recommend nearby pet-friendly restaurants.
Users can click on the stories they are interested in to view them in depth. The app can also pull publicly available information from the web to assist decisions, such as navigation to the nearest dog park or recommending pet training courses. Users can save content they like to their personal library and review it anytime.
Access Limited to AI Ultra Subscribers
Dreambeans is currently in the experimental phase and operated by Google Labs. The initial available users are eligible Google AI Ultra subscribers in the United States, who must be at least 18 years old. The platform supports Android and iOS.
Non-subscribers can join the waiting list with their personal Google account on the Google official website, waiting for future access.
Dreambeans has a built-in feedback adjustment mechanism, allowing users to correct inaccurate or irrelevant recommendations or actively add new interest tags, such as recently adopted hobbies, and the system will optimize future content generation accordingly.
In terms of data connectivity, the app requires access to at least one Google product to operate, but users decide which apps to connect.
Google emphasizes that privacy settings within Dreambeans are separate from Personal Intelligence settings in Gemini Apps, AI Mode, and other Google products, and do not interfere with each other.
