If Iran makes a request, will China and Russia provide it with military support? The Foreign Ministry responds.

On March 2, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning presided over a regular press conference. A reporter from Turkey's Anadolu Agency asked, regarding another question about the China-Russia foreign ministers' phone call: If Iran submits a request, would China and Russia consider providing military support to Iran? Was this possibility discussed during the call?

“Regarding the phone call between Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov, China has already released a statement detailing the situation; I have no additional information to provide,” Mao Ning responded.
