Jihu Alfa T7 enters the 130,000 yuan price range, BAIC Blue Valley seeks another sales boost.

On August 26, the Jihu Alfa T7 began pre-sales.

The new car offers two powertrain options: range-extended and pure electric, with a total of 9 versions. The pre-sale price ranges from 141,800 to 178,800 yuan; after adding a 4,000 yuan trade-in subsidy, the official price ranges from 137,800 to 174,800 yuan.

As a mid-to-large SUV with a length exceeding 5 meters and a wheelbase of 3040 mm, the Alfa T7 is priced to penetrate the mainstream family car market. More importantly than simply emphasizing its size, it fills the product gap in the 150,000 RMB price range for large five-seater SUVs, fulfilling the Alfa series' mission of further increasing sales volume.

In the past few years, Jihu's growth has mainly come from lower product prices and an expansion of its model lineup.

According to BAIC BluePark's annual report, Jifox sold 161,000 vehicles in 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 98.68%. In the first seven months of 2026, Jifox disclosed cumulative deliveries of 104,098 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 80.25%; July deliveries reached 23,517 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 150.45%. Based on the brand's own figures, Jifox has moved from monthly sales of 10,000 vehicles to 20,000 vehicles.

Behind the sales growth, Jifox is reorganizing its brand hierarchy.

Currently, it has formed three product lines: Beta, Alpha, and Wenda. Beta is aimed at the mass market, Alpha is responsible for the mainstream family market and technology applications, and Wenda is responsible for the high-end model layout.

Compared to the previous model range that was too wide and the positioning that was too scattered, the division of labor among the three product lines of Jifox is now becoming clearer.

Within this system, the Alfa T7 occupies a pivotal position. On one hand, it caters to existing Jifox customers with its price range of 130,000 to 170,000 yuan; on the other hand, its mid-to-large SUV positioning provides the brand with room for upward expansion. The parallel development of range-extended and pure electric vehicles also allows Jifox to cover family users with varying charging needs.

The Alfa T7 also continues the path taken by Jifox to enhance product recognition by leveraging external supply chains.

Its battery cells come from CATL, and the four Qiankun versions are equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Pro driver assistance system. In terms of vehicle manufacturing and chassis, it continues to emphasize its connection with the Magna system.

For Jihu, these collaborations help shorten the time it takes for the market to build awareness, but ultimately they still need to be realized through actual experience and stable delivery.

Channel expansion provides another foundation for increasing the sales volume of new cars. As of the end of 2025, Jihu had 660 operating stores, covering 253 cities.

As product prices enter a wider range of family consumption, the importance of channel coverage, test drive convenience, and after-sales service capabilities will further increase.

The Alfa Romeo T7 possesses several qualities that could propel it to mainstream sales, but its status as a "blockbuster" model still requires sustained deliveries after its official launch. Its price overlaps with the high-end Alfa Romeo T5 and is also lower than the Alfa Romeo T6, necessitating further adjustments to its internal positioning by Jihu.

For BAIC Blue Valley, the Alfa T7 is not only expected to bring in new orders, but also to help Jihu shift from relying on a single high-volume model to having a more clearly defined product portfolio.
