June EV report card: Leapmotor retains the new force sales crown, HarmonyOS Smart Mobility deliveries return to over 50,000, NIO and XPeng exceed 40,000, Xiaomi delivers 30,000 vehicles.

On July 1, China’s major new energy vehicle brands released their first-half performance reports, showing continued overall year-on-year growth. However, from the perspective of annual targets, none of the brands that have disclosed targets have exceeded a 50% completion rate in the first half of the year, with most clustered in the 30% to 40% range.
In June, Leapmotor topped deliveries among new vehicle makers with a global volume of 93,376 units, a year-on-year increase of 95%, setting a new monthly record for the brand. NIO and XPeng delivered 40,597 units (+62.9% YoY) and 40,126 units (+15.9% YoY) respectively, both breaking the 40,000 mark. Harmony Intelligent Mobility returned to the “50,000+” camp with 50,624 units. Li Auto recorded 30,895 units, facing both month-on-month and year-on-year declines.
Looking at the first-half completion rates, NIO's rate of about 41.9% is the only one among brands with disclosed targets to exceed 40%. Li Auto’s rate is about 39.68%, meaning the average monthly delivery needs to exceed 49,000 units in the second half to meet the annual target. XPeng and Xiaomi both have completion rates around 30%.
Leapmotor Leads, Exports Shine as Growth Highlight
Among new vehicle makers, Leapmotor continues to maintain the lead. On July 1, Leapmotor announced: June global deliveries totaled 93,376 units, up 95% year-on-year, again setting a new monthly sales record. Exports reached 21,000 units for the month, about 22% of the total.
Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman, and CEO of Leapmotor, revealed that the C series exceeded 30,000 units globally per month; D19 has cumulatively delivered nearly 20,000 units; A10 achieved over 20,000 units in June again; the B series will be newly launched in July.
In the first half of the year, Leapmotor globally delivered 356,487 units, including nearly 100,000 exports, already surpassing last year's total export volume. Based on an annual sales target of one million units, the first-half completion rate is about 35.6%, with a considerable distance to the goal.
In terms of products, the brand-new C10, C11, and C16 were newly launched on June 16, further optimized for intelligence, comfort, and usability to meet diverse family travel needs. Leapmotor’s first flagship MPV, the D99, was officially launched on June 25, achieving comprehensive upgrades in space layout, driving performance, range, and safety systems, setting a new benchmark for flagship MPVs.

NIO’s Three-Brand Matrix Accelerates, Top Completion Rate Among Peers
NIO delivered 40,597 units in June, a record high for the year, up 62.9% year-on-year. All three brands showed double-digit growth: NIO branded delivered 21,908 units (+50.1% YoY), “Le Dao” delivered 11,743 units (+83.5% YoY), and firefly delivered 6,946 units (+76.7% YoY).
In the first half, NIO delivered a total of 191,123 units, up 67.4% year-on-year, with all three brands hitting historic highs for first-half deliveries. Based on the annual target range of 456,400 to 489,000 units, the completion rate is about 41.9%, currently the fastest among major new energy brands.

XPeng, Li Auto, Xiaomi: Different Rhythms
XPeng delivered 40,126 units in June, up 15.9% year-on-year, moving up to third place. Second quarter deliveries totaled 103,295 units. XPeng GX delivered 6,739 units in June, and on July 1 saw the roll-out of the 10,000th GX car. In the first half, XPeng cumulatively delivered 165,977 units. Based on the annual target of 550,000 to 600,000 units, the completion rate is about 30.2%.

Li Auto delivered 30,895 units in June, with both year-on-year and month-on-month declines, dropping one rank.
Currently, in Li Auto’s sales structure, the all-electric i6 is the main force. The new L9 and L8 are still in the early stage of production ramp-up and delivery, dragging down overall sales performance. In the second quarter, Li Auto delivered 98,330 units, reaching the upper end of the guidance range (95,000–100,000 units). The first half total was 193,500 units; with a yearly target of 487,600 units, the completion rate is about 39.68%. To meet the annual target, more than 49,000 units need to be delivered per month in the remaining months.

Xiaomi Auto’s deliveries continued to exceed 30,000 units in June, with first-half cumulative delivery exceeding 169,000 units. With an annual goal of 550,000 units, the current completion rate is about 30.7%.

Harmony Intelligent Mobility Returns to “50,000+”, Other Brands Continue to Diverge
Among new brands created by traditional automakers, Harmony Intelligent Mobility delivered 50,624 units in June, up 9.7% month-on-month, returning to the “50,000+” sales camp. The Wenjie M6 broke 30,000 units in 54 days since launch, the series “Shangjie Z7” exceeded 10,000 units in June, and the new Wenjie M9 began scale deliveries on June 16, reaching over 8,000 units in two weeks.
In the first half, Harmony Intelligent Mobility delivered about 240,000 units, up 18.6% year-on-year. However, against the annual target of one million units, the completion rate is less than 20%, the most significant gap among major brands.

Landtour Auto delivered 14,223 units in June 2026, up 41% year-on-year.

Zeekr delivered 35,169 new cars in June, up 111% year-on-year; from January to June delivered 178,370 units, up 97% year-on-year.

On July 1, SAIC Group announced that June 2026 vehicle sales reached 394,800 units, up 8.07% year-on-year. From January to June, cumulative sales were 2,045,400 units, down 0.35% year-on-year.
Arcfox released its June 2026 sales data: 25,646 units in June, up 219.3% year-on-year, setting a new monthly record. In the first half, Arcfox delivered 80,581 units, up 65.88% year-on-year.
IM Motors announced 40,087 units delivered from January to June 2026, up 58% year-on-year.
