Noin Intelligent has raised over 1 billion yuan in total funding within 49 days of its founding and in just one year.
Noin Intelligent, a consumer-grade embody intelligence company, announced that it has recently completed a financing round of hundreds of millions of RMB, led by a fund related to JD.com, with follow-on investments from Zhenxin Valley Capital, Nanshan Strategic Investment and Walden Investment.
This is the fifth round of financing completed by Noin Intelligent since its establishment, bringing the total amount raised to over 1 billion yuan. On August 10th of this year, the company just disclosed a 500 million yuan angel+ round of financing, led by Matrix Partners China. The two rounds of financing were disclosed only 49 days apart.
Compared to the previous round, this round of investors includes funds related to JD.com. For a company developing robots for home use, the entry of industrial capital has drawn more attention to its consumer market, distribution channels, and supply chain strategy.
This round of financing will be primarily used in three areas: expanding training data to improve the generalization ability of the GLOW generative embodied model in different tasks and home environments; continuing to develop the robot body and advancing the engineering verification and mass production of the first product, KNOWIN-X1; and expanding the R&D team.
Founded in August 2025, Nowin Intelligent focuses on consumer-grade home robots. The company positions GLOW and KNOWIN-X1 as the "brain" and "body" of the robot, respectively, hoping to enable the robot to adapt to different home spaces, items, and usage habits through the collaboration of the model and the robot body.
In the past, home robots were mostly limited to demonstrating single tasks. Noin Intelligence is currently trying to solve the problem of enabling robots to learn new tasks from a single human interaction.
According to the company, the new version of GLOW can simultaneously understand human operation processes, on-site environment, robot status, and execution history, and transform a demonstration into reusable skill information.
In the company's live demonstration, the robot could transfer the watering task to different tools, and could continue to open and put away items even after the items, locations, and operation methods changed. Its learning focus is no longer on a fixed motion trajectory, but on task objectives, object relationships, and execution progress.
Noin Intelligence also released several model evaluation results. Under the test conditions it disclosed, GLOW achieved an average success rate of 62.2% in 18 simulation tasks on RoboDojo and an average success rate of 86.7% in the LIBERO-Pro evaluation; the embodied scene understanding model KnowinBrain-1.5 scored 65.62 points on the Embodied Arena 2D embodied question answering leaderboard.
To simultaneously advance the development of models and robot bodies, Noin Intelligent has assembled a research and development team of over 200 people, covering algorithms, software, and hardware engineering. The company recently also brought in Chen Yingcong, a multimodal model scientist advisor, and Deng Shiyuan, a partner and head of Infra, to supplement its capabilities in visual generative models and computing infrastructure, respectively.
Following a series of funding rounds, KNOWIN Intelligent is about to enter the product launch phase. According to the plan, the KNOWIN-X1 will be released and mass-produced in the first quarter of 2027. From now until product launch, the company's focus will shift from model renderings and live demonstrations to production, cost control, and continuous operation in home environments.
The home environment is far more complex than a laboratory setting, and robots need to adapt to constantly changing spatial layouts, object states, and user needs. Whether KNOWIN-X1 can achieve mass production as planned and translate its "easy-to-learn" nature into a stable and repeatable user experience will be the first product test for KNOWIN Intelligent after completing its fifth round of financing.
