October New Energy Vehicle Companies Report: Leapmotor’s deliveries exceed 70,000 for the first time, XPeng and NIO both set records, Xiaomi firmly holds 40,000 deliveries.
During the traditional peak season of "Golden September and Silver October," new energy vehicle companies delivered a strong sales report, with several brands reaching record-high deliveries in October.
On November 1st, a number of car manufacturers, including Xiaomi Auto, XPeng Motors, NIO, and Li Auto, intensively released their October delivery data. Among them, Leapmotor led the list with deliveries exceeding 70,000 units. XPeng and NIO both set new monthly delivery records, while Xiaomi Auto continued to stabilize at a monthly delivery level above 40,000 units.
Although Li Auto’s deliveries that month were lower than some competitors, its CEO Li Xiang revealed that the new i6 model had explosive orders, far exceeding company expectations, indicating enormous potential for future deliveries.
Other automakers also blossomed. Avatar Technology has exceeded 10,000 sales for eight consecutive months, and Lantu Auto delivered 17,218 vehicles in October, with a cumulative year-on-year growth of 82% for the first ten months of this year. IM Motors sold 13,159 units in October, and its new flagship model LS9 is also about to make its global debut.
Leapmotor and Zeekr lead, Xiaomi stabilizes at 40,000 units
The October delivery rankings show new market changes. Leapmotor, relying on its full lineup, delivered 70,289 units, ranking first and achieving a year-on-year growth of more than 84%.

Closely following is Zeekr Technology, with sales exceeding 60,000 units for the first time in October, reaching 61,636 units, a year-on-year increase of 9.8% and a month-on-month growth of 20.5%. Of these, Zeekr brand sales were 21,423 units and Lynk & Co brand sales were 40,213 units. Lynk & Co's October sales hit a record high, with the brand’s weighted average price surpassing 200,000 yuan, achieving both quantity and price growth.
The emerging giant Xiaomi Auto continues its steady performance. According to its official Weibo, in October 2025, Xiaomi Auto’s monthly deliveries stayed above 40,000 units, consolidating its position in the top tier of the market.

XPeng and NIO reach new highs, Li Auto i6 sales boom after launch
As market focal points, "NIO, XPeng, Li Auto" performed differently in October, but both XPeng and NIO set new delivery records.
According to data released by XPeng Motors, the company delivered 42,013 new cars in October, not only setting a new record, but also achieving over 40,000 monthly deliveries for two consecutive months. Among its models, the SUV family sold over 10,000 units in a single month, and the MONA M03 model accounted for more than 15,000 deliveries. By the end of October, XPeng Motors had delivered a cumulative 355,209 units this year, a year-on-year increase of 190%. The company also previewed its next-generation global extended-range product, the X9, which will be unveiled next week.
NIO also reached a milestone in October, with monthly deliveries exceeding 40,000 units for the first time, reaching 40,397 units, up 92.6% year-on-year, and breaking historical records for three consecutive months. Its multi-brand strategy has shown remarkable results: NIO, Ledo, and Firefly brands delivered 17,143, 17,342, and 5,912 units respectively. Ledo L90 and other models maintained leadership in their segments, and output for the ES6 model surpassed 300,000 units.

Li Auto delivered 31,767 vehicles in October. Although deliveries lagged behind some competitors, company chairman and CEO Li Xiang stated, "After the launch of the Li Auto i6, sales have been booming, with orders exceeding 70,000 units, far beyond our expectations." He pointed out that the company is working with suppliers to resolve capacity issues and speed up deliveries. At the same time, Li Auto is accelerating its global expansion, having opened its first retail center in Central Asia, and is planning to expand into the Middle East, Europe, and other markets.
Traditional automaker new energy brands show strong momentum
Several emerging brands also demonstrated strong growth momentum. Avatar Technology’s October sales reached 13,506 units, up 34% year-on-year, setting a new record and exceeding 10,000 sales for eight consecutive months. This month, the Avatar 12 four-laser version was officially launched, starting at 259,900 yuan.
Lantu Auto delivered 17,218 vehicles in October, recording a cumulative year-on-year growth of 82% for the first 10 months of this year. IM Motors sold 13,159 units in October, and its new flagship LS9 will soon debut globally.

The new energy brands under traditional automakers also performed strongly. Deep Blue Auto under Changan sold 36,792 vehicles globally in October, with the S05 model alone selling over 20,000 units that month. Dongfeng’s YiPai Technology and BAIC New Energy also exceeded 30,000 units in October, with sales of 31,107 and 30,542 units respectively; BAIC New Energy saw a year-on-year increase of 112%.
"Golden September and Silver October" effect emerges, but overall auto market under pressure
The collective surge of new carmakers in October attests to the powerful effect of the traditional “Golden September and Silver October” consumption season. Behind the hot delivery data lies fierce market competition and ongoing product innovation.
However, it should be noted that the boom in the new energy vehicle market contrasts with the overall temperature of the auto market. According to the China Passenger Car Association, between October 1st and 26th, national passenger car retail sales dropped 7% year-on-year.
This disparity clearly indicates that the structural transformation of the auto consumer market is accelerating. With the overall market facing growth pressure, capital and consumers are flowing steadily into the new energy sector.
