Market demand for Nvidia's new generation of AI servers continues to heat up.

According to the latest report from Taiwan's Economic Daily, securities investment institutions and analysts predict that Nvidia's GB300 series servers began small-scale shipments at the end of this year and are expected to enter the stage of large-scale shipments in the first half of next year. Market analysts forecast that the total annual shipment volume of GB300 cabinets is expected to reach 55,000 units next year, achieving a year-on-year growth of 129%. Behind this strong projection is the active procurement from the world’s top cloud service providers (CSPs).

The report points out that Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, and Dell are currently the customers with the strongest willingness to pull in goods. In comparison, Google and Amazon AWS’s demand is expected to be between 3,000 and 4,000 cabinets. This demand distribution directly affects downstream manufacturing orders and has become a key metric for investors to evaluate supply chain value.

Even more noteworthy, from the GB300 to the Vera Rubin 200, Nvidia's product iteration speed has not slowed down. The report states that the next generation AI server Vera Rubin 200, which will succeed the Blackwell architecture, is also expected to begin mass production and shipment in the fourth quarter of next year.

Strong Demand, Tech Giants Actively Deploying

As a key product of the Blackwell platform, the shipment progress of the GB300 is drawing significant attention from the market. Analysts note that unlike the GB200, which previously faced yield and design adjustment issues, GB300's shipment schedule has not been delayed, and production is progressing smoothly. In addition, GB300 has seen improvements in critical components such as thermal dissipation, boards, and connectors, meaning its unit price and overall production value will surpass that of previous generation products, potentially bringing direct growth to supply chain vendors.

Foxconn chairman Liu Yangwei previously stated that customer demand for computing power is very strong. His forecast for next year's cabinet shipments is 50,000 to 60,000 units, which he described as a "rather conservative estimate," while there are even optimistic forecasts in the market reaching as high as 100,000 units. This statement corroborates the booming AI server market from a different angle.

Supply Chain Structure: Foxconn and Quanta Share Major Orders

Driven by strong demand, the AI server supply chain in Taiwan will benefit considerably. From a manufacturing perspective, Foxconn and Quanta have become the main recipients of GB300 orders.

According to analysts, Foxconn, as the main supplier for Microsoft and Oracle and the second supplier for Meta, will become the primary contract manufacturer for the GB300. Although Quanta lost part of the Meta order, it has obtained a small share of orders from Oracle and Microsoft. Meanwhile, Wistron continues to maintain its solid position as Dell’s exclusive supplier. Besides the cabinet assembly factories, chip, thermal, and rail component suppliers in Taiwan such as TSMC, Delta, Auras, Chaun Choung, and King Slide will all benefit from this wave.

Manufacturers Optimistic, Order Visibility Extends to 2027

Faced with a continued influx of orders, major contract manufacturers hold an optimistic outlook for the future. Quanta said that due to the continuous growth of CSP customer demand, several new clients’ projects have started shipping, and order visibility now extends to 2027. The company has confirmed that the GB300 has entered mass production, and delivery speed is expected to accelerate.

Foxconn, on the other hand, continues to expand capacity through investments in Texas, California, Ohio, and Wisconsin to meet urgent customer demand. Liu Yangwei revealed that yields on the company’s new generation cabinets have greatly improved, shipment volume is ramping up rapidly in the fourth quarter, and high double-digit quarterly growth is expected.
