Report: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang plans to visit China before the Spring Festival
According to media reports on the 21st, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang plans to travel to China in late January, arriving before the Lunar New Year to attend the company's celebrations, and is expected to visit Beijing.
Citing unnamed sources, the media reported that Jensen Huang's trip comes at a critical time for Nvidia. This has become part of his regular arrangements during this period; in January 2025, he also spent Lunar New Year with employees in China and, as a result, missed U.S. President Trump's inauguration.
According to Xinhua News Agency, on the evening of April 17, 2025, He Lifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Jensen Huang, President and CEO of Nvidia, at the Great Hall of the People. Jensen Huang stated that he is optimistic about China’s economic prospects and is willing to continue to deepen Nvidia’s presence in the Chinese market, contributing positively to U.S.-China economic and trade cooperation.
This Wednesday, as scheduled, Jensen Huang will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and will be interviewed by BlackRock CEO Larry Fink.
