On April 17th, YHTOYS, the trendy toy brand under Yuehua Entertainment, officially announced that top celebrity Wang Yibo has become the global spokesperson for its original IP "Xiao Ao aoo".

This marks Yuehua pressing the accelerator on "artist derivative value development" and the trendy toy business after stabilizing its core artists.

According to the plan, the new "Xiao Ao aoo" series will launch simultaneously in YHTOYS robot stores owned by Yuehua, partner Qimengdao stores, and will be sold using the retail network of MINISO LAND and MINISO SPACE under MINISO.

Yuehua's strategic tilt toward trendy toys stems from the strong growth curve of this business and the visible ceiling of its main artist management industry.

In 2025, Yuehua will disclose the trendy toy segment as an independent business unit for the first time. The annual report shows that this segment achieved revenue of 37.13 million yuan throughout the year, with a gross profit margin as high as 45%.

By comparison, the company's traditional artist management business has a gross profit margin of only 22.8%. Trendy toys have become the most outstanding part in terms of profit quality among Yuehua's four main business segments.

In this strategy, US-listed Qimengdao (formerly Quantum Song) is the key industry ally that Yuehua introduced earliest.

The two parties deeply incubate and operate IP through their joint venture "Yuehua Tongxing", with Qimengdao providing product design and supply chain management capabilities, while Yuehua injects scarce celebrity traffic and marketing resources.

Previously, the VIVISTAR IP co-developed by both sides has been validated under this model.

People close to Qimengdao revealed to All Weather Technology that "Xiao Ao aoo" will continue a similar co-development and operation model as VIVISTAR, with Qimengdao providing sales channel support.

Yuehua Entertainment founder Du Hua publicly stated that 2026 will be a year of transformation for the company, hoping that the public's impression of Yuehua will be "besides star-making, also a comprehensive company of 'robot + AI + trendy toys'."

In terms of channels, the first batch of YHTOYS ROBOSHOP stores, co-created by Yuehua and Jinma Amusement, have been launched at the beginning of the year in core business districts of Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Guangzhou, and Hangzhou.

The company plans to expand overseas using Korea or Southeast Asia as pilot markets, and is planning to open more retail locations within the year.

With the empowered influence of the "Wang Yibo" super symbol, Yuehua Entertainment's trendy toy dream is further expanding.

The traffic and buzz brought by top celebrities can quickly complete IP exposure and cross-over, providing the launch momentum for new products; but in the long run, whether an IP can become a stable asset still depends on the continuous validation of product strength and channel capability.

Whether this path can create stable blockbusters remains to be answered by time.
